A few words about the VINCI brand…

Origins

It all began relatively recently, in 2000. At that time, Société Générale d’Entreprise (SGE) parted ways with its main shareholder, Vivendi, and joined forces with the GTM Group to form VINCI. Since then, VINCI has expanded its operations to more than 100 countries around the world, enabling it to acquire new knowledge and experience. Today, the Group comprises 2,100 companies and employs more than 183,000 people on six continents.

Name

The name VINCI pays tribute to the genius of Leonardo da Vinci, an artist, scientist, and engineer who stands as a symbol of cultural heritage worldwide. VINCI also reflects the values we identify with: humanism, technical ingenuity, and innovation.

Essence

At VINCI, we believe that success is more than just financial results and technical capabilities. For us, true success is success that serves the public interest. It is success that benefits both our employees and our contractors. It is success that we share.

Logo

The logo consists of “connectors” used in the past by church builders to join stones together. It symbolizes the durability of the structure, but also a global network of connections that enables the exchange of expertise within the VINCI Group, allowing for continuous development and improvement in the quality of services provided.
