Subcontractor relationship card

The development of the VINCI Group has always been based on respect for fundamental principles of social and environmental responsibility. Today, the Group reaffirms its commitment to openness and dialogue with all stakeholders through the actions described in the “VINCI Manifesto.” Part of this is the “Subcontractor Relations Charter,” which emphasizes the importance of loyal cooperation with business partners. It contains six principles that our employees are required to follow.

COMPARABLE SAFETY CONDITIONS FOR OUR EMPLOYEES AND SUBCONTRACTORS

Continuous improvement in workplace safety is an absolute priority for the VINCI Group. It is the responsibility of our staff to constantly strive to ensure conditions that guarantee respect for the health and lives of all individuals. On every construction site and in every property managed by VINCI, our employees and our subcontractors’ teams must benefit from comparable protection measures.

FAIR TRADING RELATIONSHIPS

The growth of the VINCI Group requires long-term relationships with subcontractors. The financial health of our subcontractors is often a prerequisite for their ability to survive in the market. Therefore, VINCI Group employees are committed to rejecting abnormally low bids and to complying with contractual terms, particularly those relating to guarantees and payment terms.

FAIR SELECTION CONDITIONS

In order to choose the best contractors, our staff is committed to objectively evaluating subcontractors’ bids according to transparent and uniform criteria, as well as in accordance with local regulations.

TRANSPARENCY IN BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS

In order to improve the quality of project implementation and build trust between partners, the exchange of information must be smooth and transparent. All information necessary for the proper performance of tasks will be communicated in good faith between the parties concerned, taking into account the confidentiality of the data received and respecting intellectual property rights.

To contribute to the development of smaller businesses, our employees are committed to working with local companies on our projects. In addition, VINCI Group staff are encouraged to share their expertise with partners so that we can achieve our goals together.
