The Stade de France is celebrating its 20th birthday!

Located in Saint-Denis near Paris, the Stade de France is the largest sports arena in France, with a capacity of up to 80,000 spectators.

The facility was designed, financed, and constructed by a team of companies belonging to the VINCI group. It was inaugurated as the main arena for the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Today, the VINCI group is the main shareholder of the Stade de France Consortium, while also being responsible for the operation and technical and infrastructural maintenance of the stadium until 2025.

Since its opening, the Stade de France has hosted more than 450 sporting and artistic events, which have been watched by 35 million spectators from the stadium stands. Plans are already in place for further major events, including the Rugby World Cup in 2023 and the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games a year later.
